The real problem with kitchen remodeling
By the time the cabinets are ordered and the countertops are cut, most of the budget and most of the regret are already locked in.
You've felt this before. The quote that grew. The team that disappeared mid-project. The layout that looked fine on paper and wrong in the room. The decisions made under pressure, in the wrong order, by people who weren't sure either.
For homeowners investing $20,000, $30,000, or more, the real risk isn't just spending too much. It's spending that much and ending up with a kitchen that doesn't quite work.
It doesn't have to go that way.
A kitchen remodel done well looks expensive.
A kitchen remodel done with method feels easy.
That's what the Anchor & Grain Method is built to deliver.
How we work
Five focused steps, designed so every important decision is made and visualized before construction begins.
We listen first.
Before any sketch or quote, we visit your home, walk the space, and understand how you actually use your kitchen: what works, what doesn't, and what the project needs to solve.
You see it before you build it.
Your kitchen is designed in 3D, including layout, cabinetry, countertops, and finishes, so you can understand the plan before major decisions are final. For approved projects, the 3D plan is included in the planning process.
Every detail made clear in advance.
Scope, materials, timeline, and investment are organized in writing before work begins. If something needs to change, you understand why before any decision is made.
Executed with care and coordination.
A focused project team works from a clear plan, with steady communication, clean work habits, and visible progress throughout the project.
Finished by the inch, not by the hour.
Hardware adjusted, seams checked, and a final walk-through completed with you, so the finished kitchen reflects the standard agreed from the beginning.
Method is what turns a kitchen project into a kitchen finished well.

Different homes and different starting points, with the same planning discipline behind every result.
Cumming, GA · Full Kitchen Remodel · Approx. 7-9 weeks
Before. A kitchen showing visible failure across multiple systems: cabinet doors held together with tape, drawers unable to close fully, glossy terracotta tile flooring dating the entire room. The footprint worked, but every surface in it had aged past repair.
Method. Layout was preserved. Materials were rebuilt as a coherent system. Cabinets specified in classic raised-panel profiles in a soft white, with brushed brass hardware throughout. Countertops in calacatta-look quartz with subtle veining. Brass faucet to anchor the sink wall. Marble-pattern tile flooring to brighten the room and remove the dated terracotta entirely. Every material decision was coordinated on paper before order, so the finished kitchen reads as a single design — not a sequence of replacements.
After. A kitchen that doesn't look remodeled. It looks like the room it always should have been. Classic detailing, current materials, built to age well rather than chase a current trend.
Marietta, GA · Full Kitchen Remodel
A studs-out rebuild around a generous central island with built-in wine storage, calacatta-look quartz, brushed brass plumbing, and a beadboard ceiling. Perimeter cabinets in white shaker, island base in soft sage. Every finish coordinated as a system before installation began.
Alpharetta, GA · Full Kitchen Remodel
Heavy cherry cabinets and dated counters were replaced with white shaker fronts, an oversized stainless farmhouse sink, and a black-and-white penny-tile backsplash that gives the room a defined center. Same layout, brought into a current language.
Three projects, each with a different story and the same method underneath.

Is Anchor & Grain right for your project?
We do our best work for the right kind of project. Here's how to tell, honestly, if that's yours.
You want a kitchen remodel done with method, not improvisation.
You'd rather see the full plan in 3D than discover problems mid-build.
You're planning a complete kitchen transformation, not a cosmetic touch-up.
You value being heard during the process, not handed off after the contract.
Your main priority is the lowest possible price, even if it means skipping planning.
You need construction to start within the next two weeks.
Your project is a single replacement: one cabinet, one countertop, or one isolated fix.
You'd prefer to skip the design phase and decide as we go.
If this sounds like the kind of remodel you want,
let's start the conversation.
Common questions
Most full kitchen remodels we deliver begin around $20,000 and typically range up to $30,000, depending on scope, materials, and the condition of the existing space. During planning, you receive a written proposal that explains exactly what's included, what isn't, and what decisions affect the investment.
Most full kitchen remodels take 8 to 12 weeks from the first conversation to handover, depending on scope and material lead times. Before work begins, you receive a written timeline for your specific project. If anything is at risk of shifting, we communicate early.
Most projects include cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, hardware, lighting, and the layout-related coordination that goes with them. Flooring, paint, plumbing, and electrical work may be included depending on scope and local requirements. Everything included and excluded is listed in writing before work begins.
That's exactly what the design phase is for. We adjust the plan together, including layout, materials, and finishes, before the build begins, so the major decisions are clear before they become expensive to change.
Anchor & Grain doesn't currently offer financing directly. Most of our clients fund their projects with personal savings, a HELOC, or a renovation loan from their own bank. If financing options become available through a partner, we'll make that clear before any commitment.
Our planning phase is built to catch most issues before the build starts. When something genuinely unexpected appears, we stop, document it, present options in writing with cost and timeline impact, and wait for your decision before moving forward. Nothing outside the approved scope moves forward until you understand it and approve it.
Still have a question we didn't answer? Call us directly. That's part of the conversation.
